GFSI is opening a stakeholder consultation for Equitable Food Initiative issued on 7 July 2022.
Equitable Food Initiative is a non-profit skill-building and certification organisation that brings growers, farm workers, retailers, and consumers together to create a safer, more equitable food system. This unique approach sets standards for labour practices, food safety and pest management while engaging workers at all levels to address issues and challenges in the produce industry. This Certification Programme Owner is now entering the Stakeholder Consultation stage of the GFSI Benchmarking Process.
Why a stakeholder consultation
This important step of the GFSI Benchmarking Process ensures its transparency and robustness, inviting interested stakeholders to review and comment on the assessment carried out by GFSI and their independent Benchmark Leaders.
