The WHO's recent report "Estimates of the global burden of foodborne diseases" – concludes that Foodborne disease is one of the world’s largest public health challenges. When taken in the context of the impact of food production on our climate and increasing supply chain challenges due to inflation, it is clear that we must work together across broad stakeholder groups if we are to continue to raise the bar on food safety.
