UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE OF IMPORTED PROCESSED ANIMAL AND PLANT PRODUCTS REGULATED IN TERMS OF THE AGRICULTURAL PRODUCT STANDARDS ACT 119 OF 1990
Importers of animal and processed plant products under the APS Act should note that until 31 Oct 2022 consignments of these products will not be subject to inspection at the ports of entry, but from 1 Nov 2022 importers will need to arrange with the Inspection Services regional managers for the inspection, approval and release of their processed products.
