Food Focus Newsletter 2019 Issue 3

Petrol hikes, elections and the end of autumn...

We're hardly half way through May and already it's been a busy time in South Africa  - petrol price hikes (again), the National Elections, and autumn is rapidly turning into winter!
On top of that we know that the industry has been busy with Person in Charge Training, transitioning to the BRC Food Issue 8 and so much more.

We've been busy too - we were invited to the Stakeholder Consultative Session
held by the DTI to look at the findings of the Deloitte and Touche study on the
economic impact of the recent listeriosis outbreak in South Africa.  Linda spent a
couple of days in Angola presenting at a National Listeria Sensitization Workshop and we've also added some great new articles to our website (check out below).
