Our very own Linda Jackson and Jess Kelfkens were on SABC1’s Daily Thetha Show representing Food Focus this morning.
Some of the topics discussed were food safety in South Africa and the reasons for foodborne diseases, our basic right for food safety, the benchmark of food safety, food safety at home, what to do in the case of a product recall, dealing with formal and informal sellers and vendors, the legislation governing food safety and what to do with counterfeit products.
Other members of the panel included Isabella Mazzone from Hahn & Hahn as well as Palesa Mpana from Food Safety Agency.
