Food Pathogens - The Data Speaks for Itself

By Food Focus on 27 July 2022

We looked into the details of foodborne illness outbreaks and recalls covered by three global reporting sources in the EU, USA, and the United Kingdom in 2022. Below is the compilation of data for recalls with pathogenic sources of recall (as opposed to physical contaminants, mislabelling, allergens, or regulatory non-compliance).

This is just the data... in our article in the July 2022 issue of Food & Beverage Reporter, we unpack a summary of these figures and identify which are the key culprits that are causing recalls, so that we can be prepared.
