The Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development (DALRRD) has formalised its stance on the use of product name(s) prescribed or reserved for processed meat products being used for meat analogues.

SAMPA supports the concerns raised by the Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and RuralDevelopment (DALRRD) in respect of correct labelling of meat analogues, which are plant-based foods made to approximate the characteristics of meat.
