CGCSA Dialogue | Bioplastics

The CGCSA is pleased to announce that they will be holding our food and packaging waste dialogues. The overarching goal of this initiative is to help you as the South African consumer goods companies and waste partners to contribute and benefit from a sustainable ecosystem while reducing food and packaging waste and assisting the government to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Presidency’s Operation Phakisa goals.

Not all bioplastics are biodegradable nor biodegrade, and they are not all environmentally friendly. How can we manage claims about bioplastics being biodegradable and environmentally friendly?
