Meeting Cancellation: Processed Meat Products Workshop

It is with regret that AFSQ (The Agency for Food Safety and Quality) has to cancel the Processed Meat Products Workshop scheduled for the 25th of March 2020.

Some of our personnel have presented flu like symptoms and we are taking all necessary precautions to have them tested and to keep our other employees safe.

The well-being of all our personnel and stakeholders are of critical importance to us therefore, after careful consideration and consultation with our lawyers, AFSQ has decided that it would be in the best interest of all involved to cancel the Processed Meat Product Workshop on the 25th of March 2020 as large gatherings would be a risk for all involved.  We are also looking at implementing webinars and individual Zoom/Skype sessions with stakeholders.

AFSQ will make the presentation and all relevant documentation available to you, during the course of next week, as the implementation date for the R.1283 regulation still remains 1 April 2020.  You are welcome to work through these documents and should you have any questions or queries, you are more than welcome to contact our head office or the following management team members:
