ISO 22000:2005 was revised to:
1. Clarify key concepts that have caused confusion, such as Critical Control Points (CCPs), Operational Prerequisite Programmes (OPRPs) and Prerequisite Programmes (PRPs).
2. Improve the readability and usability of the standard.
3. Ensure the standard is relevant to all actors in the food supply chain.
4. Ensure the standard also suits the needs of SMEs.
5. Increase the compatibility of ISO 22000 with other management system standards, by adopting a common structure and terminology.
OBJECTIVES OF TRAINING
This course is intended for any person who contributes to the food safety system .It is designed to equip them with a strong and practical understanding of ISO 22000:2018 and skills to be able to plan and prepare the documents required to effectively implement a food safety management system in line with the new requirements for ISO 22000:2018 certification
