Progress Excellence achieves CQI and IRCA certification for FSMS Lead Auditor Course

Cape Town Progress Excellence, a leading provider of food safety training in South Africa based in Ceres in the Western Cape, is pleased to announce that their Food Safety Management ISO22000:2005 Lead Auditor course, based on FSSC22000 achieved CQI and IRCA certification on 24 October 2017.

The International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) in association with the Chartered Quality Institute is the leading professional body for management system auditors, offering a globally recognised business qualification.  It represents 10 000 registered auditors in 150 countries.  Around 60 000 delegates attend IRCA approved training courses every year. Progress Excellence now join an elite group of certified training providers who have met the stringent requirements demanded for CQI and IRCA registration.

A key benefit of this CQI and IRCA certified course is the global recognition of auditor training it provides. This intensive course is the entry route for food safety auditors seeking to register with IRCA thereby obtaining independent recognition of their expertise as the management system professionals. The other advantage of CQI and IRCA registration is that auditors can gain recognition from internal auditor level through to principal auditor thus allowing for career development.

The addition of Progress Excellence as an CQI and IRCA registered course provider in the local market increases opportunities for delegates. They can be assured of personalised attention as the course has a maximum delegate limit to ensure participation and optimise learning. The course material is regularly reviewed by independent learning specialists to maintain the standard of training worldwide. Delegates will enjoy a high standard of tuition as the course is taught by independently assessed facilitators following a recognised learning style that encourages participation and reinforces learning.

According to Debbie Brandt, Business Development Director of Progress Excellence, this new course expands their offerings to provide even greater value for their clients. “We are extremely proud of this achievement, it’s involved months of hard work. Through our passion for food safety we aim to qualify professional auditors who can add value through their competence as lead auditors and at the same time know that the training and qualification forms part of a recognized scheme.”
