Do I need to use a external company to do my internal audit?

Hi Anel,That's a good question, thanks for sharing this on our forum.Internal audits are mandatory - all the ISO standards require this. However, you don't need to use an external company for your internal audits - you can use someone from within your company. It is preferable that they have attended Internal Auditor training so that they can conduct an effective audit on your facility. Please remember that there must be impartiality, so a person cannot audit their own section/division/work. This means that there will need to be at least two internal auditors conducting your audits to maintain impartiality.Kind regardsThe Food Focus team
